With a small fleet at Woollahra on Sunday, it was decided to do one long race on the North-east course. However, to keep it tighter & more interesting we would re-bunch at the bottom mark each time to keep the competition more challenging.
A good low to mid-range 3rd rig North-easterly, first of the season. Unfortunately it was Garde waiting to bunch the two times at the bottom, getting a 50m break on LCC on each of the works: slightly better sailed & slightly better boatspeed.
A good spinnaker runs down the bumpy harbour in front of the 18 spectators, a useful day on the water (with us identifying a need to seek some extra pace from this rig!) and an enjoyable day flying the LCC flag.
